Big changes for 2025 Spring Flood Run as it will now be 3 day event

Flood Run Rally was founded in 2024 by Harbor Bar and a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who wanted to share their passion for motorcycles with others and improve the established run for the better. Our goal is to make it more business friendly and return it to the glory of what the ride was in the beginning. It was the Mom and Pop business that created things to attract the bikers on this famous run from the beginning and it was the local bars and restaurants that went out of their way to provide special meals and entertainment that helped attract riders to the run. Which turned it into the 3rd biggest motorcycle run in the country. Flood Run will now be a 3 day Rally offering a better way for all the mom & pop  businesses to be a part of this run and for riders to experience one of the most scenic routes in the USA with moire fun and entertainment for all

We also plan to raise money for the same charity - The Gillette Children's Foundation and will be putting all money raised from wristband sales to go to help the kids. So the change will not affect the kids or the fundraiser. We only hope to raise more money for the kids than ever before.

When they created a single starting place way up north. It changed the whole concept of what flood run was all about. and slowly the interest has wained. with no incentive to travel past Red Wing the run was leaving out the biggest draw of why it became so popular in the first place. And that was riding around Lake Pepin which is considered one of the top ten most scenic drives in America. The businesses on the lower part of the Lake were getting left out and the run turned into riders just riding to 1-place and then it was over. Most never went to the start once they changed it. 

Riders used to meet at the closest river crossing bars to their homes where they then start and usually end there day. Now there is an incentive to ride the full route as that will be requirement to qualify to win the free motorcycle we will give away on last day of rally. This concept is meant to return the glory of the run back to what it was in the beginning. where riders are seen all along the route around Lake Pepin and including all the towns and businesses along the route. 

We will have tier leval sponsors so we can keep the cost down for businesses so they can focus their energy on providing services to help attract the riders.

Mom used to say business breeds business. So with that in mind is why we have set it up this way so more businesses can participate.in helping make the run even better than its ever been.

Harbor Bar being the main sponsor and located centrally on the route will be where the drawings will be held daily at 7pm on all 3 days for prizes, with the motorcycle drawing held on the last day of rally.
